According to Mahayana teachings, the Medicine Buddha cures all diseases, including those of ignorance. Its function is to free living beings from the three mental poisons, hatred, greed and confusion.
This retreat, guided by meditation masters Qapel and Cata Sensei, is an opportunity, for any meditator, of any level, to go deeper to the essence of practice.

Zen is derived from the Sanskrit word dhyana, which is often translated as ‘absorption’. Rigorous self-restraint, sitting meditation practice and insight into the nature of mind are central to Zen practice.

We can help you with a supportive balance of formal meditation time and optional mindful activities. Or, you can use the space for deep rest, journaling, or reflecting.
