Life is busy. Every day you face demands from work, family, finances, health. While navigating through life’s daily challenges it can be difficult to pause and take a breath, to smell the roses, to rest in the moment. Join us live and in-person at the Clear Sky Meditation Center to reset.
We are delighted to share this course that is being offered in collaboration with our friends at Alive Mindfully.
A Registered Clinical Social Worker, Maureen has been a Mental Health and Substance Use Counsellor for over 9 years and previously worked in Hospice and Palliative Care. She is a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) facilitator and meditation teacher.
Since 2005, Maureen has been a resident and co-manager of the Clear Sky Retreat Center. For over 20 years Maureen has been studying meditation and mindfulness with awakening masters Doug Duncan Sensei and Catherine Pawasarat Sensei. Maureen gets excited finding ways to blend her spiritual and professional work life in a delicately woven tapestry. Her life’s purpose is exploring consciousness and gaining wisdom into human nature in order to support people to grow into fully developed human beings.
During her time-out relaxation moments, Maureen enjoys gazing at the sky through leaves on tree branches, hiking, creating art and reading.
